In this class, you will see simulation strategies and techniques as applied to MEP design analysis to achieve better designs. You will learn the effectiveness of iteration CAD modifications and up-front simulation, and master rapid prototyping workflows.Īutodesk CFD software is a great simulation tool for solving practical problems of MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) design for commercial buildings. Stepping through electronics-cooling best practices, postprocessing simulation results, and evaluating multiple designs-you will learn not only how to validate the original design, but also how to innovate and land on the best possible design. Iterating seamlessly between Fusion 360 software and Autodesk CFD software, this class will dive into setting up rapidly prototyped electronics-board configurations and evaluating its thermal performance. This class will start by demonstrating how to create simulation-ready geometry within the Fusion 360 Simplify workspace. This phenomenon requires many design revisions, and the designer and engineer must work together to arrive at the best possible solution that meets the design criteria. Autodesk CFD data is 3D data, which is often difficult to communicate through 2D gates such as screens or paper.Įngineers and designers are constantly pressed to deliver greater performance while simultaneously cutting costs and using up less space. The result offers a full immersion and experiencing of Autodesk CFD data, which can be presented on virtual reality (VR) rigs and mobiles. The workflow describes the export of a Revit model to Autodesk CFD simulation software, making use of an Autodesk CFD data translation within 3ds Max software preparing it for its final destination: the Stingray gaming engine. The presentation entitled "CFD Meets VR" addresses a well-designed workflow where critical facility data can be communicated to stakeholders to make the right decisions about comfort-supporting equipment and costs influencing the success of the architecture. New simulation methods will only path their way when their results are being communicated and well received. While software got better and better, stakeholders and clients are often struggling to grant the use of the latest tools accepting new solutions. Dynamic modeling and generative designs paved the way for sophisticated digital prototyping. This also falls into more maintenance, as most of these cars we see have blown or nearly blown struts. This is perfect for those of you trying to crawl up rocks in the moab mountains, but not preferable for most of us racers that want to look cool, and keep the maximum possible speed in cornering. One of the curses of the 2.2 and 2.4 cars is the massive ride height. You can browse the BRAKES AND SUSPENSION category on our website for some even more aggressive bar options. The front will also get a better turn in feel, such as the ZZP ECOTEC FRONT SWAY BAR, but most cars do not need it. For a typical street car we recommend our ZZP REAR SWAY BAR. Because of the rear beam design, you can add a ton of stiffness in the back with any bar to lessen the FWD car feeling and get some oversteer dialed into your chassis. This actually goes for any of the Delta chassis cars. For the 2.2 and 2.4 cars, we HIGHLY recommend starting out by adding a rear sway bar to the car. Sway bars are very affordable, you can choose from a few options to cater to your driving style / build set up, and will instantly transform the feeling of driving your car. You can also visually look under your car with the wheel turned to lock to see how the ball joint boot looks, and how the inner bushings are holding up. You can usually feel a bit of play in driving or some clunking / unpleasant noises when they wear out. Have a look at our LE5 CONTROL ARMS or our custom ZZP TUBULAR CONTROL ARMS if your car allows for them. Having all these bushings in good condition will also help your launches. This is a common wear item for these chassis, and nice, new, stiff ones feel awesome and planted around corners. These have two connections to the frame, and one ball joint out towards the knuckle. Starting our we recommend looking at your front Lower Control Arms. You may have a base model car, but thankfully your suspension set up is more or less the same as even the top tier SS lineup of Cobalts. Here at ZZP we love turning corners just as much, if not more than going fast in a straight line. Just because you can’t go fast doesn’t mean you can’t still turn your car into a sports car. Doing these modifications one time the right way is much cheaper than cutting corners and having to re-do it, or wishing you set it up differently and changing it twice later. Keep in mind your budget, power goals, handling, and maintenance. Ask yourself what you really want to do with the car, and how far “racecar” you really want to do. So do yourself a favor and DO NOT overcomplicate it. The beauty of a simple naturally aspirated car like a 2.2 Cobalt is that you do not need a very complex build list or set up. As car enthusiasts, we have all heard this saying by now. HPTuners has support for all those models, so you are good to get a ZZP tune anytime.ĭo it once and do it right. Plan your mods accordingly or see if you can find a 07+ or any of the 2.4 cars. If you unfortunately ended up with one of these years 2.2 liters, you can only do mods that do not require any tuning. HPTuners never supported them, and at this point, it is safe to say that that will not. 05 and 06 2.2 guys do not have any tuning support. Start with a clean slate and you will not have any regrets. No little issues, clunks, or poor running conditions. We always recommend modding a car that is in fully working condition. Treat your engine and drivetrain well, and it will do the same for you. We have seen many with very high mileage still running great. Without boost, these little engines are typically stout. Parts are available for replacing these old bits and pieces with new, or improved mods that will make the car perform better than it did from the factory. On the fortunate side of this, this is one of the cheapest mod cars you can get into. These cars are not getting any newer, and as much as we hate to admit it, most of our base model cars lived tough lives of neglect. It doesn’t matter if your goal is to be a voiceover artist or a videographer. You can also clean and fine-tune the audio while maintaining a seamless workflow. Adobe Audition allows you to edit your raw audio and make them sound great. You will need to pay for the paid version in order to unlock the full potential of this software. In fact, to the untrained eye, the move will look exactly the same. Most of the principles and steps remain the same for both, and a strong mind-muscle connection plays a crucial role in both variations. To ensure you understand the differences between the lat dumbbell pullover and the dumbbell pullover for chest, we've included how to make tweaks to the exercise to target each muscle group. The lying dumbbell pullover is fantastic for both the chest and the lats, and we love it in both a back and chest day workout routine. Let’s get into the correct way to do a dumbbell pullover. One other thing to note about the dumbbell pullover is that small form changes can transition it from a back-focused exercise to one that emphasizes the chest. The only difference between a dumbbell pullover for lats and a pullover for the chest is slight body adjustments that alter which muscles the exercise targets. Simply put, it can build more muscle and train your body to take deeper, longer breaths. Taking deep breaths in the pullover position can help increase the size and strength of the chest and lats, in addition to the musculature around the rib box, leading to an increased breath capacity. The pullover is also a great strength training exercise for working on deep breathing. It gained popularity within the bodybuilding community when lifters realized the exercise was a great chest and back exercise. Typically performed while lying flat on a weight bench, the dumbbell pullover has huge upper body-building benefits and does an excellent job targeting the chest and lats. Dumbbell pullover variations and alternatives. How to do a dumbbell pullover and common mistakes to avoid. We're about to get into everything you need to know about the dumbbell pullover, so you can fully understand the benefits of this classic exercise. Plus, any exercise that was a staple in Arnold's lat building arsenal is undoubtedly worth adding to your program. An iconic bodybuilding move, the dumbbell pullover targets the chest muscles and lats, making it a must for any upper-body routine.Īnd while compound lifts should always remain the stars of your workout show, with its ability to add muscle and strength, the pullover certainly deserves a supporting role in your lifting routine. However, because you can add Additional Withdrawal amounts, you could make adjustments to the first few payouts if you needed to withdraw more to cover these types of fees. For example, if interest is taxed at the rate of 15%, you can calculate a tax-adjusted interest rate as =(1- rate)*15%Įarly Withdrawal Fees: This is another thing that the spreadsheet does not take into account. That is usually a pretty good assumption, but if you want to take taxes into account, you can use a tax-adjusted interest rate. The main assumption with regard to taxes is that the interest is earned tax free within the retirement account. Taxes: This spreadsheet doesn't include any tax calculations. The Age column was added to the Google Sheets version, also. Update - The Age column in the table was fixed for the choice of an Annual withdrawal frequency. It should be adding the Withdrawal Amount column and the Additional Withdrawal column (not the Interest Earned column). Update - The error in the Total Withdrawals field was fixed (error introduced accidentally during update). The table includes an Age column and the graph uses Age as the horizontal axis. Choosing "beginning" means the first withdrawal is made before any interest is earned. Choose whether the withdrawal is made at the beginning or end of a month or year. For example, you could use this feature to see what a huge one-time medical bill might do to the plan. Make adjustments to the normal scheduled withdrawal by entering an Additional Withdrawal amount within the Payout Schedule, either positive or negative. You are more likely to make monthly withdrawals, but for a quick analysis and a more concise payout schedule, the annual option is handy. Create a monthly or annual payout schedule. This is an important part of any retirement planning calculation. Enter an annual inflation rate to automatically increase the amount withdrawn each period. The initial withdrawal will be adjusted for inflation based on the number of years until your retirement. Personally, I’d just put the columns in - or if you are printing the result and don’t want intermediate stuff, then maybe try the hidden columns technique.- Enter the amount you expect to withdraw in today's dollars. Use our required minimum distribution (RMD) calculator to determine how much money you need to take out of your traditional IRA or 401(k) account this year. VBA will have your end users continuously clicking on the “This excel sheet might contain viruses” warning that microsoft pops up. The hidden column ones will cause annoy people if someone else wants to audit your book and they don’t know about the hidden columns and have to go looking for them. The other way is to write a VBA function to do all the intermediary calcs for you. If you want to keep your sheet looking neater, one way to do this is to hide the intermediate columns for the intermediate calculations. if your data is not monthly and you need monthly values, then you may need a few extra columns to pick out month end points too. The easiest way requires adding a few columns of data (one to generate an equity curve from returns, another one to track the max value to-date, another one to track the current value as a proportion of max value - 1 (which is the drawdown). Yep, no way around doing the calculation. Todoist isn’t like a standard project management tool. You can add it as an extension to Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Microsoft Edge, or even install the app on your Apple or Android watch to track tasks on the go. Todoist has robust apps for desktop (macOS, Windows and Linux) as well as mobile (Android, iPhone and iPad). If you have a Pro or a Business plan, you can set and modify reminders for any task. The due date, collaborations and priority of any active task can be modified at any time. Once the project gets completed, you can archive or delete it completely. For instance, if you have created sections such as Todo, Doing and Done for a project, move the tasks around as they progress. Todoist calls the columns on the board “sections.” You can change the name of a section and add as many tasks as you want to each section.Īs the project progresses, mark the tasks completed and archive them or move them within the different sections you have created. Once you have the project populated, you can view the tasks as a list or on a Kanban-style board. Each time you log in to Todoist, you’ll have your list of to-dos for the day, and they’ll show up in your inbox, too, unless you add them to a project. Since you can modify everything about a task later, you can try and test what works for you. You can set priorities, due dates, labels, filters and tags later, once you learn about them. There’s a super short walk-through of where to find your projects and your to-do list, and it points you to a more detailed “getting started” document if you need it. Immediately upon creating an account in Todoist, users can create their first project and start adding tasks to it. Additionally, the Business plan offers team inbox features, which can be useful for collaborating with a larger team. It includes 100MB of file uploads, unlimited activity history and automatic backups. It allows users to create up to 500 active projects, with 50 collaborators per project. The Business plan costs $6 per user per month (or $8 per user per month if billed monthly) and offers even more features. Themes and team inbox features are also included in the Pro plan. The Pro plan costs $4 per month (or $5 per month if billed monthly) and allows users to create up to 300 active projects, with 25 collaborators per project. Additionally, themes and team inbox features are not available in the free plan. The plan also includes 5MB of file uploads, one week of activity history and no auto backups. It allows users to create up to five active projects, with five collaborators per project. The Free plan is, as the name suggests, completely free. To do this, you’ll need a template, such as the one offered by YNAB. Users can set budgets for specific tasks or projects and track spending against those budgets to ensure they stay on track financially. By setting dependencies between tasks, users can ensure that they are completing tasks in the correct order and that they are not blocked by incomplete tasks. Dependenciesĭependencies are another critical feature of project management that Todoist supports, provided you use an integration such as Ganttify. Examples of integrations include PomoDone, Slack, Time Doctor, Timetrap, Zapier and Zendesk. These integrations can help streamline workflows and reduce the need to switch between different apps. Todoist also offers a wide range of software integrations, which allow users to connect the app with other tools and services they use for their work. This type of chart provides a timeline view of a project’s tasks and dependencies, so you can see how different tasks relate to one another and pivot as needed. Gantt charts are another popular project management feature that is available through an integration. This view makes it easy to see upcoming deadlines and adjust plans accordingly. TimelinesĪnother key feature of Todoist is timelines, though you’ll need to use an integration for it, which provides a visual representation of project progress over time. This helps ensure everyone knows what they’re responsible for and can work together efficiently. One of Todoist’s core features is its role assignment capabilities, which allow users to assign specific tasks to team members or collaborators. While some of its features are only available with integrations, the app still provides a variety of tools for managing tasks, lists and projects. Todoist is a simple project management tool that offers several core features to help users stay organized and on top of their workload. And that could be another sign of just how serious Netlfix is about its latest gaming offering: while the Netflix-published Stranger Things games were developed by studio Bonus XP, the streaming powerhouse seems to have since switched to in-house development. Miller continued to write until his death in 2005. His third wife was the photographer Inge Morath. An over-the-hill salesman faces a personal turning point when he loses his job and attempts to make peace with his family. With Fredric March, Mildred Dunnock, Kevin McCarthy, Cameron Mitchell. In 1956 he married the film actress Marilyn Monroe. Death of a Salesman: Directed by Laslo Benedek. Willy’s father had been a flute salesman, and apparently managed to find success making and. It opens and closes the play, and serves as a haunting glimpse into Willy’s regrets and the cyclical nature of the relationship between fathers and sons. Miller testified before this committee, but refused to implicate any of his friends as Communists, which resulted in his blacklisting. The sound of flute music occurs at key points throughout Death of a Salesman. In 1952, Miller wrote The Crucible, a play about the 1692 Salem witch trials that functioned as an allegory for the purges among entertainers and media figures by the House Un-American Activities Committee. He wrote Death of a Salesman in 1948, which won a Tony Award as well as the Pulitzer Prize, and made him a star. His first play, The Man Who Had All the Luck opened in 1944, but Miller had his first real success with All My Sons (1947). Family relationships are what makes Death of a Salesman a universal play. He married his college sweetheart, Mary Slattery, in 1940, with whom he had two children. After college, he worked for the government's Federal Theater Project, which was soon closed for fear of possible Communist infiltration. There, he received awards for his playwriting. Miller was unintellectual as a boy, but decided to become a writer and attended the University of Michigan to study journalism. Death of a Salesman is a good example of such ambivalence. In the stock crash of 1929, his father's clothing business failed and the family moved to more affordable housing in Brooklyn. The encounter prompted Biff to give up on his “American Dream” career track, as he had completely lost faith in his father and in the values he had taught them.Arthur Miller was born into a middle-class Jewish family in Manhattan. Biff calls his father a liar, phony, and fake. Then, the woman comes out of the bathroom. He tells his father that he failed math and will not be able to graduate, and asks for his help. He grows up to be a successful lawyer who is about to argue a case before the Supreme Court. As a boy in high school, he warns Biff not to flunk math, a warning both Biff and Willy ignore. The difference in the way that Biff and Happy Loman treat their father, Willy Loman, in the play Death of a Salesman lies on the manner in which Willy treated each of his children as differently as he did, and on the way that each of the young men developed psychologically as a result of it. Willy then finds himself at the hotel in Boston with "the Woman" as someone knocks on the door. Charleys son, he is studious and hardworking. This time, he sees young Bernard tell Linda that Biff failed math and got on a train to Boston to find his father. When Willy arrives to meet them for dinner, he tells them that he was fired and Biff tries to tell him what happened with Oliver, but Willy goes off into another memory. Biff is upset because, after waiting for six hours to see Bill Oliver to ask him to finance their business idea, Oliver declined and didn't even remember him.
